Why We Love
Pure Spectrum CBD
A Wonderful Option For Our Readers
(and fellow asthmatics!)
Long time readers of this blog know that I was able to quit my ventolin addiction by using a combination of healthy strategies and lifestyle changes.
And long time readers also know that using CBD for asthma is probably my favorite strategy for asthma relief. I’ve been blogging about how it has helped me combat symptoms for awhile now.
Many readers has asked for advice on choosing the right CBD. So, after much research, I’m happy to have a great option for my American and European readers: Pure Spectrum CBD. Please keep reading to see if their products are right for you, and remember that if you use the links on this page or the coupon code ‘treatasthma’, you’ll get 10% off your order!
(And don’t worry – I’ll cover how to use CBD for asthma below, too!)
Healthy Options For Asthmatics
We love Pure Spectrum because of the high quality of their products, and the high level of transparency they provide (unlike many other CBD companies).
Pure Spectrum controls every level of their production process, from seed to to sale (see their detailed process here).
This means than any product you receive from Pure Spectrum has been tested for quality, consistency and efficacy.
(Don’t believe us? Check out all their latest test results here!)
And Life Changing.
I’m living proof: CBD is great for asthmatics.
Modern studies have shown that cannabidiol, or CBD, is a potential new and natural way to modulate the inflammatory response in asthma, as well as treat several other asthma symptoms. CBD offers many other great benefits, and it has no psychoactive effect (meaning you won’t get “high”).
So if you’re looking for more natural ways to manage your asthma symptoms, it’s a great option. Learn more about my journey with CBD here.
If you’re curious and ready to jump in, I recommend Pure Spectrum because its level of transparency and quality sets it apart from others on the market, while maintaining a reasonable price point. And the fact that they’re also organic, American-made and offer a discount to military and veterans doesn’t hurt!
Ultimately, the CBD industry is still not FDA regulated. So if you’re going to supplement with CBD for asthma, then you want to ensure you’re only using products that are tested to this high degree, from companies that are this open about their process.
Finally, please note that Pure Spectrum ships to all US and EU territories. Be sure to use coupon code ‘treatasthma’ (or just follow the links on this site) to get 10% off your order. If you’re outside these areas and are still curious about trying CBD, please get in touch and we’ll see if we can help!
Don’t worry – you don’t need to smoke CBD. Why put your lungs through that when Pure Spectrum has all these other great options?
Whatever you choose, I recommend starting with a 20-25mg dose at first. Try that out for a few days, noting that you likely won’t notice anything immediately (although some people do report feeling nice and calm after taking CBD). See if you notice a change in your symptoms, and up your dosage as necessary.
I now like to take some in the morning and some before bed, and sometimes I take extra when I’ve eaten too much or have had more trouble sleeping. I’m always experimenting – but as long as I get some CBD a day, I feel good.
My wife Emma also takes the same CBD I do now, mostly for the health benefits (she’s not asthmatic) and to help with a little anxiety at night and trouble sleeping. We also give it to our elderly cat, Lily, and she’s definitely got some spunk back (and yes, you can have a cat even if you have asthma – here’s how!).
If you have any questions about these products or how to use them, Pure Spectrum has great customer service.
Or, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org – we’d be happy to help!
You can probably tell I’m a little a passionate about CBD. Taking it has changed my life, my wife’s life, and my cat’s life, and I’m delighted to live in a world where such a wonderful, natural supplement is readily available to so many.
That said, of course you want to do your own research first. These articles are a good place to start (I keep them updated with links to the latest medical publications).
And note that I’m not a doctor – just an asthmatic who happily gets relief from CBD.
